Housed in a restored, 1896 Queen Anne-style home, the Wyandotte Historical Museum offers guided tours through this beautiful home, complete with six fireplaces, a lovely 500-spindle wrap-around porch, a large turret and numerous period artifacts. Genealogy information, in-depth exhibits and an extensive archive on the history of the Wyandotte area also offered by the museum. Located approximately 11 miles south of Detroit in the suburb of Wynadotte, the museum is located just down the street from the Historic Marx Home.
Closed for season. Will re-open March 19th. Office open Mon. - Fri. 9:00 a.m.- 5 p.m.; Tours offered Thu. - Sun. noon - 4:00 p.m.
